What is the Syllabus for IBPS Common Bank Entrance Exam 2011 ?



Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) in collaboration with 19 Nationalized Public Sector Bank of India is conducting the Common Written Exam 2011 for the recruitment of Probationary Officers and Management Trainees on 18th September 2011

This is the first time ever in Indian Education History that a Common Written Exam for 19 Banks is being conducted,so it is golden opportunity for all those who are eying for a career in banking sector.This exam is going to be highly competitive since the number of applicants is expected to touch 10 million,there by making it the toughest exam ever in India history
Syllabus for IBPS Common Exam 2011:IBPS Syllabus 2011 for Common Written Exam seems to be no different from other banking exams in India.The Written exam of IBPS shall consists of Objective as well as Descriptive paper

Objective Paper:The Objective Paper for common written exam shall consists of 225 Questions carrying 225 marks.The Duration of Objective paper is 150 minutes.The details of Objective papers are given as under:

Descriptive Papers: The Descriptive Papers is basically the test of English Language or verbal comprehension.The nature of Questions asked in descriptive paper shall consists of "Essay,Precis,Letter Writing" etc.The duration of Descriptive papers is of 1 hour and carry 25 marks.It is worth mentioning here that Descriptive papers of only those candidates are evaluated who have been declared qualified in the Objective Paper
